How do I make my discussion private (2026)

To make a discussion private:

1. During setup: toggle Visibility to Private in the discussion settings.

2. After creation: go to Discussion Settings → Visibility and switch to Private.

Private discussions are only accessible to people you explicitly invite. They do not appear in search results, community feeds, or public listings.

You can also make individual topics within a discussion private, while keeping the overall discussion visible.
